Project5pi MIDI for Claude · for FL Studio

Type a song idea. Get an FL Studio project you can open and edit.

Describe the song. It writes the drums, bass, chords, melody and arrangement into a real FL Studio project, has FL Studio play it out as a mastered MP3, and checks the mix before you hear it. Every note stays editable.

The tool is free and open source. The desktop app will be free for 5 songs a month, or $5 a month / $39 a year for unlimited.

How it works

No clicking around FL Studio, no extra drivers. It writes the project file directly.

  1. You describe the song

Genre, tempo, key, mood, what should come in when. As loose or as specific as you like.

  2. It writes a real FL Studio project

Drum patterns, an 808 or bass line that follows the chords, chord voicings that move smoothly, arpeggios, a melody, and a full arrangement in the playlist. It opens like any project you saved yourself.

  3. FL Studio plays it out

Your own FL Studio exports the song, then it is mastered to streaming loudness with the peaks kept safe. You also get a MIDI file for any other music app.

  4. It checks the mix before you hear it

It measures loudness per section, bass against treble, and stereo width, and flags problems in words, like "the intro is louder than the drop". The app fixes them before handing you the song.

Questions

Do I need FL Studio?
Yes, for the sound and the MP3. It uses your own FL Studio (version 20.7 or newer, including FL Studio 2026) on Windows to play and export the song. The project and MIDI files can be written on any computer.
Can I edit what it makes?
Yes. You get a normal FL Studio project. Every note, pattern and playlist clip is there to change, and the instruments are the ones in your FL Studio template.
Who owns the songs?
You do. Project5pi claims no rights to anything you make. FL Studio's own sounds are covered by your FL Studio license.
How is this different from AI song generators?
They hand you a finished audio file you cannot really change. This hands you the FL Studio project itself, so it is a starting point you can produce on, not a black box.
Is this made by Image-Line or Anthropic?
No. It is an independent Project5pi tool. FL Studio is a trademark of Image-Line Software and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
