What we collect
When you interact with project5pi.com — our blog, diagnostic tool, or product pages — we may collect:
- Contact details you give us voluntarily (name, email, phone, company) via forms or email.
- Basic analytics data via Google Analytics (pages viewed, referrer, device type, rough location). No personal identifiers.
- Usage data via PostHog: pages viewed, time on each page and how far you scroll, links and buttons clicked, the page address, the site that sent you, device and browser type, and rough location from your IP address. Details below.
- Ad data via the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): pages viewed, the page address, the site that sent you, browser and device, IP address, and button clicks. Details below.
- Data you enter into the diagnostic tool at diagnostic.project5pi.com, used to generate your report.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiries and deliver the product or report you asked for.
- To improve our content and products based on aggregate usage patterns.
- To see how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. We may also show our ads to people who have visited this site.
- To send follow-ups related to the conversation you started with us — not unsolicited marketing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not use your diagnostic data for anything other than generating your report and any follow-up you request.
Third-party services
We rely on a few vendors that process data on our behalf: Google Analytics (site analytics), PostHog (site analytics), Meta (ad measurement through the Meta Pixel), Netlify (hosting), Brevo (transactional email), Stripe (payments for paid products). Each has its own privacy policy.
Analytics and ad tools
PostHog (site analytics)
- What it collects: the pages you view, how long you stay on each page and how far down you scroll, the links and buttons you click, the page address, the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and your IP address, which it uses to estimate your rough location. It keeps a random ID in a cookie and in your browser's storage (both start with "ph_") so it can tell repeat visits apart.
- What it does not collect: anything you type into a form. It ignores clicks inside the forms where you give us your details, and we remove email addresses, phone numbers, names and similar details from page addresses before anything is sent. Screen recording is off.
- Why: to learn which pages help visitors and which do not, so we can improve the site.
- How to opt out: turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, and PostHog will not load on this site. An ad or tracker blocker that blocks PostHog also works. Blocking cookies is not enough: PostHog still counts your visits. If you block all cookies and site data, it just cannot tell your repeat visits apart. PostHog's own policy: posthog.com/privacy.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads)
- What it collects: the pages you view, the page address, the site that sent you, your browser and device, your IP address, and a Meta cookie ID ("_fbp"). When you click a button, it also reports the button's text and the names of the form fields near it, but not what you typed. On our AI assistant page, clicking the button to book a consultation also tells Meta that a lead happened. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta can link this to your account. We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number.
- Why: to see how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. We may also use it to show our ads to people who have visited this site.
- How to opt out: in Facebook or Instagram, open Accounts Center, turn off "Your activity off Meta technologies", and review your ad preferences. An ad or tracker blocker that blocks the Meta Pixel also works. Blocking third-party cookies makes it harder for Meta to link your visits to your Facebook or Instagram account, but the pixel still reports them. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track do not turn off the Meta Pixel or Google Analytics on this site. Meta's own policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
SMS / text messaging
We only send SMS messages to phone numbers that have explicitly opted in via a web form or by texting us first. Opting in to SMS:
- Is never a condition of any purchase.
- Typically results in 1 to 3 messages per month related to the audit or product you requested.
- May incur standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier.
- Can be cancelled anytime by replying STOP. Reply HELP for support.
Phone numbers collected for SMS are not shared with third parties for marketing. See our Terms of Service for the full SMS terms.
